The HSE have recently published a leaflet explaining simple and sensible precautions that need to be taken to prevent danger from portable or moveable electrical equipment in LOW-RISK environments, such as offices, shops, some parts of hotels and residential care homes.

New Code of Practice

It is expected that In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment will be covered by a new British Standard BS EN62638 later in 2012. A new version 4 of the Code of Practice is expected to be published in August.

We will implement any changes to our service as soon as possible after publication.
